A BRIEF HISTORY OF NORTHWOOD GREEN CHURCH Mr McIver of Blaisdon Hall gave a piece of land to the Northwood Green residents on which to build a church. The church was built by Mr Smedley- Jones from Wales and duly consecrated by the Bishop of Gloucester, dedicated to St. Barnabas in 1915. (GPO and Ordinance Survey reference GL14 1LZ / OS ref 721164)
